Dates To Remember
Any owner of land or lessee of Crown owned land (FCC, ACS or any agency of the Crown) in Saskatchewan may apply to insure crops with SMHI. A condition of acceptance is that all lands owned and or leased and the crops seeded on them must be insured. However, if the insured does not wish to insure all of their crops, an Application for Exemption of Crops must be completed. To apply for coverage contact your local RM Administrator.

Insurance may be cancelled for the current year ONLY on crops insured which have been destroyed by some cause other than hail. Cancellations will not be accepted on crops that have been damaged by hail. Percent of Cancellation Credit will be determined by the date the cancellation is received.
