1. SMHI has changed from fixed indemnities to flexible indemnities. Indemnities available will be $25 - $200 per acre, in $1.00 increments.
   
   
2. Additional Municipal Hail Ltd. (AMHL), a subsidiary company of SMHI, has increased the maximum indemnity available to $200 per acre.
   
   
3. SMHI, and its subsidiary, AMHL, are pleased to announce a decrease to the surcharge on lentils. For 2011, the surcharge on lentils will move down from 2.00 to 1.75 times the basic rate, which represents a 12.5% decrease.
